CASTLE FREAK - Stuart Gordon’s lean mean slice of 90’s gothic is re-released in a special edition courtesy of 101 Films Black Label. Iain MacLeod reviews what could be the most lurid of the much missed directors collaborations with Barbara Crampton and Jeffrey Combs.

BALLERINA - Ana de Armas takes centre stage in the John Wick universe as a graceful assassin, but it appears that the producers are unwilling to part ways with Keanu Reeves. Iain MacLeod reviews this flawed yet enjoyable entry in a franchise that is now stretching itself thin.

DANGEROUS ANIMALS - Just when you thought it was safe to go back to the water, up pops Jai Courtney’s monstrous serial killer who puts his victims through the wringer with the help of any passing, hungry sharks. Iain MacLeod reviews the entertainingly grisly thriller that makes sharks scary again.

CLOWN IN A CORNFIELD - Sick of killer clowns yet? Iain MacLeod seems to be with his review of the latest slasher that attempts to subvert the usual character tropes but does little else with its tired out cliches.

TERROR IN THE FOG: THE WALLACE KRIMI AT CCC - Eureka Entertainment unleash another boxset of retro German cinema with this set of Edgar Wallace mysteries, which with their own sense of style and shocking violence, paved the way for giallo and slasher cinema. Iain MacLeod reviews this excellent intro to a near forgotten genre.
